a round-the-table discussion was held by Akh Faizal,Akh Fadli and Akh Khairi
for the new exco members and the heads of units(lajnah).
altogeteher,12 Syababs and 9 Akhawats attended it.
The discussion was a follow-up of a retreat held by MUIS
which the three brothers had attended while they were
in Singapore during the recent summer holidays.
The day started with an icebreaking programme
conducted by Akh Khairi.
Each participant was tasked to write with his/her
LEFT HAND!! the STRENGTHs and WEAKNESSes of their
fellow brothers/sisters.
<~The people around us are the ones who may be able to spot our strentghs & weaknesses.~>
The conclusion:the
strengths are to be honed while the weaknesses are
to be improved upon.
The 2nd part of the programme was SWOT,presented by Akh Faizal.
S-Strength
W-Weakness
O-Opportunities
T-Threat
Each group was tasked to discuss and present the
Strengths,Weaknesses,Opportunities and Threats found
in Damascus,Syria.Be it concerning Syria itself,or its people
or the students studying here.
Some points brought up were very interesting.
The conclusion-
The strengths and opportunities should be optimised
while the weaknesses and threats should be overcome.
After a short break,the participants watched an enlightening
video of Dr Albakri's presentation during the retreat
in Singapore.
Lastly,the day was wrapped up with SKA(Skills,Knowledge,Attitude),
presented by Akh Fadli.
During this slot,the skills,knowledge and attitude
desired in the students studying in Syria were discussed.
After the most desired points from each of the three were chosen,
the whats(WHAT programmes should be held) and the hows(HOW they should be
carried out) were planned.
All in all,the discussion was a fruitful one,
alhamdulillah,all praises be to ALLAH.
We hope all that was discussed and agreed upon
can be carried out smoothly,with Allah's help.
To all Dmasyqians:Mari sama-sama menjayakan apa
yang bakal dijalankan!!! InsyaAllah!!

salam...mubarak utk dmasyqian.saya harap apa yang dikongsi wkt retreat dapat dilaksanakan sebaik mungkin dan dapat dikongsi bersama dengan ahli2 yang lain.
retreat satu muhasabah yang baik buat diri kita sebagai dmasyqian dan tolibul ilm,moga pada akan datang retreat dapat dijadikan satu program tahunan bg dmasyqian.
saya lihat pada gambar teman2 saya,ada wajah baru dan wajah mrk yang byk pengalaman berada di syam.satu gabungan yang mantap dan saya amat gembira utk teman2 disana.we support our family!
