LIQA' FIQH MAR'AH MUSLIMAH.

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.wa bihi nasta'in 'alaa umuuriddunyaa waddiin...

On the 23rd of October 2009,the SINGAPOREAN akhwats were invited by
the Malaysian Student Union (lajnah akademik,bahagian akhawat)
for a workshop titled : LIQA' FIQH MAR'AH MUSLIMAH.
4 akhawats attended it and found it extremely beneficial.
So here i pen down the points which i found eye-opening :

(1st part-The Muslimah of the future)

ليست المرأة المسلمة التي تتغير بتغير الأزمان بل هي التي تعود إلى ما كانت عليه المسلمة الأمس البعيد
*-When we say : the Muslimah of the future,the idea of a modern woman
donning clothes of the latest fashion having lunch with her office-mates
MAY jump to the mind of some.
But in actual fact,as Dr Yusuf Al-Qrdhawi says,the Muslimah of the Future
is the Muslimah who follows the example of the Muslimah of the past(Muslimatul ams)

However,Muslimahs of the past are divided into 2:
(Al-ams alqariib)-The near past.
(Al-ams alba'iid)-The far past.
look at how in the wars during the time of the Prophet(s.a.w),
women joined in as nurses 4 the fighters!
So,we can see that women were given exactly the same status as
men:except for a slight difference:their natural make-up(thabi'ah)
which Allah gave them.But this DOES NOT make them any lesser than men.
In actual fact,as the Anisah pointed out,sometimes,this difference
helps each of the woman n man in his or her job in this world...

*المرأة المسلمة لها تفكير خاص. و من علامات هذا التفكير التخلص من التقليد الأعمى
The Muslimah of the future has her own special thinking(which is on par
with the teachings of her beloved Creator and hai Messenger(pbuh))
And from the signs of this special thinking is being free from following
blindly)ikut membabi buta tanpa berfikir).

*a muslimah has to aLWAYS think on how she can contribute to her community
(mujtama'). At the same time,she has to make sure she meets the criteria
set by islam (if she wants to work) + settle her obligations(waajibaat)
towards her house,husband and children...
This can only be done by Muslimahs with high determination('AALYATAL HIMMAH)...

Thus,Muslimahs of the future muslimahs who are always thinking
of ways to 'berkhidmah' to the people around her,has a high determination
to get all her work donev WELL & at the same time,holds on steadfastly
to the laws given to her by her CReator('azza wa jall).

Future!!Together,we work to get the love and attention of our Khaliq
serve his creations on this earth by helping them get nearer to Him too...
