Held on 1st may 2009, Dmasyqians were gathered for a small but meaningful feast at the humble but vital embac. Officially the last gathering for Dmasyqians before examinations, it was organized by the new excos of Dmasyq.
Once everyone was comfortably settled, ears were soothed by the beautiful recitation of some verses of the Quran by resident reciter, Bro Hafiz.
Following that, Bro Fadly Ayub, who is the new 5th Precident-cum-emcee for that day invited Cikgu Razak to deliver the appointment letters to the new male Exco members and Ummu Tayyibah to the new female Exco members.
A slide show soon ensued, amongst which the appointment of new IC for temporary departments : Infomedia, Ekoniaga & R&D. Bro Fadly chose [Istiqamah in Practice] to be the focus and motto for Dmasyq’s efforts this year.
Lastly, the moment everyone has been waiting for: the dinner! Dmasyqians tucked in delicious Nasi Campur while listening to the ‘in- house DJ’, bro Zahir who cracked jokes and entertained everyone.
Kudos to everyone who helped made the gathering a success, the Syabab who lend their house time and time again and the support of all members who came. Team Infomedia wish the best for the new Excos for the new upcoming year.
